Since the Fajr Film Festival, in its annual calls, considers one of its important goals to be to provide a basis for the growth and promotion of cinematic works based on national and religious identity, and since this festival is the most important national festival in the field of cinema, and the inclusion of cinematic works in this venue provides the capacity to attract a significant number of audiences, and from the perspective that animation deals with a wide range of children and adolescents, and the future-building role of this age group in society makes their intellectual and cultural development an important matter, the main issue of the project is to study the representation of various identities in the selected animations of the Fajr Film Festival and thematic analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of these works with a view to the issue of national and religious identity from the perspective of experts in this field.
